Franz Family on Sept 5
[Written by Bryan Nelson]

TBC rarely invites outside groups (read about why we say yes and no to different groups). However, September 5, will be a Sunday morning you won't want to miss. Mark Congdon (Xenos worship leader) has worked it out to bring The Franz Family to lead worship at TBC again. Mark the date. Read more about The Franz Family. If you heard them last time, you already know the professionalism and unique new-grass style of this group. It would be a perfect weekend to invite a friend to church.

Ear monitoring change
[Written by Bryan Nelson]

We've gone through lots of change in the past 2 years with our synchronized bands. Part of this important change included a total change to IEM (in-ear-monitor systems). That means we all use ear buds in our ears for monitoring to hear the click tracks, loops, and vocal cuing. Up to this point, we have supplied the ear buds. While TBC will continue to supply ear buds, we'd like to encourage each musician (vocalists and instrumentalists) to invest in a personal set of ear buds. Orchestra and the full Vocal Team will not need to get ear buds due to using floor wedge monitoring when you play/sing. For those that will need to get them, the only requirement is that they aren't a headphone style or over ear style. They need to be placed inside your ear. We will continue to provide BACKUP ear buds in case musicians forget theirs. There's everything from A-Z to get. But for starters, try bringing in your favorite set of earbuds to see how they work. Find something that suits you. If financially it is a problem, again we will always have backups available. But these will be shared. If this is the case, we recommend you maintain your own ear-sleeves and bring them when you use the backups we will provide. We are thrilled that God is providing the IEM (in-ear-monitor system) that allows us to run a silent stage and increase seats by 200 during a worship time. If you have any questions, email Bryan.
