Franz Family THIS coming Sunday at TBC, invite a friend

TBC rarely invites outside groups (read about why we say yes and no to different groups). However, September 5, will be a Sunday morning you won't want to miss. Mark Congdon (Xenos worship leader) has worked it out to bring The Franz Family to lead worship at TBC again. Mark the date. Read more about The Franz Family. If you heard them last time, you already know the professionalism and unique new-grass style of this group. It would be a perfect weekend to invite a friend to church.
IMPORTANT MEETING for ALL techs, vocalists, and instrumentalists

If you are in the worship arts family (tech, instrumentalist, vocalist, etc.) — we are holding a very important ministry-wide meeting on Thursday, September 16 from 6:00pm to 6:45pm. This meeting will COINCIDE with our regularly scheduled rehearsal that evening. The purpose of this meeting will be to outline some significant changes and vision casting for the future of the worship arts family. We will be sending out invitations to this meeting through Planning Center Online this week because we'd like everyone to be there. Don't worry — we don't have any scary announcement to make, just some exciting stuff we'd like to share face to face. Childcare provided for this meeting.
300 CDs given away and largest sign-up at TBC's Discovery Day

A big thank you to Syneva Mullins who made Discovery Day a success at the worship arts table. We gave out over 300 free CDs and had our largest sign up since I've been at TBC. She was perfect to help out — and she offered.

With September around the corner, there is a lot to look forward to in the Worship Arts ministry including the Franz Family this Sunday, vocal team and orchestra, and (it's not too far away) the Light Show. This past Saturday, several members of the Tech Arts team experienced another exciting event. We took 7 TBCers to Kansas City to attend a live sound training seminar. It was a full day of informative and hands-on learning, and was a benefit to all who went. We heard some wild stories of things that have happened at other churches and it just reminded me of the wonderful and hard-working volunteers that make the weekend servfices go so smoothly. Thanks to all of you who serve.
