Resources for Group Study
#1 - Biblical Study Guides
The word of God is essential to all that we do. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 states that "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
Because a thoroughly biblical foundation is essential for growth to happen in any Community Group, we make the following Biblical Study Guides available for you, free of charge. Our prayer is that these Study Guides will help you and your Group "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 3:18):
Old Testament:
Joel (6-session study)
Amos (9-session study)
Zephaniah (3-session study)
New Testament:
Mark (41-session study)
Galatians (11-session study)
Philippians (6-session study)
Colossians (6-session study)
1 & 2 Thessalonians (10-session study)
Hebrews (21-session study)
James (6-session study)
1, 2, 3 John & Jude (10-session study)
"The Life of Paul" (A 53-session study based off of the "Life of Paul" (in Acts) sermon series by Dr. Jim Congdon)
#2 - Sermon Study Questions
Each week, we make available Study Questions that are connected to the text and subject of Sunday's sermon. We encoruage both Groups and individuals to use these Study Questions as a way to solidify the growth and learning that takes place on Sunday morning. You can access each week's Sermon Study Questions through YouVersion (and online Bible study tool) by using the following link: http://read.ly/e/2a3. (You will also be able to find the audio from the sermon and submit prayer requests through this link.)
