Spiritual Growth is one of the most important areas of Women’s Ministry. There are two sessions of “Women in the Word”, fall and winter. The variety and depth of studies are designed to offer something for everyone at any level of Biblical understanding. Each semester the Spiritual Growth branch leaders plan and organize all aspects of Women in the Word at TBC. All classes take place on Wednesday in the mornings or evenings.

Angie Boles

Full Name: Angela Boles

Where were you born? Lawrence, KS

How did you end up in Topeka? I grew up in Topeka, attended K-State then moved to Arizona State where I graduated with a Business Marketing Degree. I have lived in Reno, Nevada; Laguna Niguel, California; Sacramento, California; and then bac to Topeka.

How long have you attended TBC? Our family has attended TBC for 4 years however I have been attending Women in the Word studies on Wednesdays at TBC for about 7 years.

Family: I married my high school sweetheart- Brent- and we have 2 beautiful daughters, Cassidy (1995) and Madeline (1998).

How do you occupy your day? My weekdays are filled with running a household, working part time in our family business, exercise, and the many errands a Mom has to do in addition to serving on Women’s Ministry Council.

How would you spend a free Saturday? I would spend it on the Plaza in Kansas City – I love Loose Park, shopping, and all the restaurants.

Favorite meal: It would be a pasta dish my husband makes with Italian turkey sausage & marinara sauce, a good glass of red wine, sourdough bread, and a salad.

Sports team you cheer for: My daughters’ dance team when we are on the road competing.

What shakes you up?  Riding in the back seat of a car, riding a spinning carnival ride or going on a cruise, and wind.  I don’t like these things at all!

If you could be any fictional character, who would you be?  One of Charlie’s Angels
