Mercy Branch
The Mercy Branch strives to be the hands and feet of Christ to our church body. The Mercy Branch has the privilege of serving our church family when needs arise. We have wonderful volunteers within our branch who provide meals, clean, send cards and (most importantly) PRAY for those in need. Our goal is to love those in our church family as Christ would love us.
Mercy Meals
Mercy Meals are for TBCers struggling with illness or celebrating new births. What a blessing to receive a delicious hot meal in times of need. These ladies, along with many other wonderful volunteers supply these meals: Diana Swickard (Southeast), Arlene Crawford (Southwest), Gina Bowes (Central), and Pam Ragsdale (North).
Card Ministry
The Card Ministry team sends birthday, encouragement to shut-ins, get well and sympathy cards to those in our church family. To know someone is thinking about and praying for you is such an encouragement! Arlene Crawford, Helen Freel, Kaye Hines, and Jackie Peterson author these cards.
Other Short-Term Assistance
The Mercy Branch is also prepared to provide housecleaning and childcare on a short-term, as-needed basis.

Full Name: Elisabeth June Osborne
Where born: Wamego, Kansas
How did you end up in Topeka? My parents met in Florida, hailing from Colorado and Chicago. My dad toured with a group called Eternity and they would often come to TBC to perform. My parents quickly became acquainted with the people of TBC and soon after, my dad was offered the position of Music Pastor. I've been here ever since besides a brief stint away when I attended Kansas State University!
How long have you attended TBC? My whole life!
Family: My husband is Stephen Osborne and we have one son, Charlie, who was born on Christmas Eve 2010.
How do you occupy your day? I am a stay-at-home mom and love every minute of it. I get excited about finding the latest deals and fun new recipes!
Favorite milk shake: Chocolate pretty boring but SO good.
How would you spend a free Saturday? It would start by sleeping in then spending time with Stephen and Charlie and ending with a good meal and Orange Leaf!
What book have you reread the most? A Voice in the Wind by Francine Rivers
Sports team you cheer for: Chicago Cubs!
What's one thing you've done that might surprise people? I've been skydiving, but something I WANT to do that may surprise people is to restore an old '67 Mustang.
What shakes you up? Moldy food!
