WOW Branch encompasses the following Ministries:

Smom (Single Moms)
The purpose of the Single Mom’s Ministry is to lead, encourage, and instruct single moms to have Christ as their anchor, to trust in Jesus and hope in His unfailing promises. Single Moms have several opportunities to connect with one another for encouragement and fellowship by attending Sunday morning class and special events designed just for them and their children.

If you are a single mom, know a single mom, or were a single mom, please consider being a part of this vital ministry. If you have a heart for single moms, consider praying, mentoring, serving, teaching, or training. Your efforts will bless many!

SWIM is an opportunity for women who are single, widowed, or single again, to connect and make new friends. This group is open to women of all ages and will have a monthly SWIM Meet on the 3rd Friday of each month usually in the CAB Xenos. Each SWIM Meet will include various activities that will allow attendees to connect with other single women with the same interests, hobbies or spiritual passions.  Some activities might include - bunko, movie night, study groups, lunch/dinner groups, and volunteer service projects

 

 

DOD (Daughters of Destiny)

Daughters of Destiny is a full-circle prison ministry to incarcerated women and former inmates.  Based in Colorado Springs, Daughters of Destiny partners with local churches to hold quarterly events of prayer, praise, testimony and the Gospel of Christ, reaching 20,000 women in prisons nation-wide.  They also seek to minister through Bible studies, seminars, and written correspondence with inmates.  Churches that partner with Daughters of Destiny welcome and mentor women after their release.

How you can be involved: Pray for the volunteers who go into the prison to minister with Daughters of Destiny.  Learn more about the ministry at www.daughtersofdestiny.org.
