Thank you for your willingness to serve at the Light Show! This community outreach will require the hands and hearts of our entire church family, and we're glad to have you on board!

Light Show 2.0 performances will be at:

  • 6, 7, 8 and 9 PM Friday, December 14

  • 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 PM Saturday and Sunday, December 15 and 16

Many volunteer positions require additional time commitment in advance of performance dates.

Children are welcome to volunteer for the Light Show! We ask that children under age 16 serve alongside their parents. If this is not possible, children under 16 will be placed in volunteer positions with other adults.

We will host a Volunteer Training/Performance Preview Night: Thursday, December 13. Attendance at this training is required for all volunteers unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Food is provided at 5:30 PM, training begins at 6. The evening will end with a dress rehearsal of the Light Show concluding by 8 PM.

What volunteer positions are available?

Greeting Team - Serve as the front line of the Light Show and communicate the culture of TBC! Welcome our guests, help them navigate our building, help guests get seated, answer questions, make them feel at home, etc.

Guest Hospitality Team - Help prepare and serve refreshments for our guests, greet guests as they exit the auditorium and visit about their experience.

Volunteer Hospitality Team - Help prepare and serve food for our volunteers in the volunteer hospitality room.

Children’s Area Team - Monitor children as they play, encourage appropriate participation and use of equipment, make children and their parents feel welcome. Help wipe down equipment throughout the evening to keep the area clean and keep our guests safe.

Setup/Teardown - Be available in the days leading up to the Light Show to run errands, help with setup, decorations, etc. We also need people who will be fresh at the end of the night Sunday (haven’t been volunteering all night) who are willing to help with teardown and cleanup.

Parking Team - Be prepared to bundle up and put on a warm smile as our guests arrive. You’ll wave them to available parking spots, and when possible, welcome guests as they exit their cars.
